Frequently asked questions
Can the server read the PDF?
The browser encrypts the PDF before upload. The server receives a random identifier and ciphertext, but is not intentionally sent the PDF plaintext or fragment-held decryption key.
Is deletion instantaneous at exactly 15 minutes?
Access expires at the configured time. Scheduled cleanup runs every five minutes to remove expired ciphertext and record deletion evidence.
