What happens next
We acknowledge requests, verify identity proportionately before disclosing or changing information, and target a response within 30 days, subject to applicable legal deadlines. No automatic receipt is promised. If you have not received an acknowledgement within three business days, follow up by email. A follow-up does not restart the original legal deadline.
Keep your message minimal
Do not attach documents, government identity records, card details, passwords, decryption keys, or secure links. Ordinary email is handled by your email provider and Microsoft/Hotmail; it is not the browser-only document tool. Existing website submissions remain subject to our retention policy and are not erased by this change.
Complaints and escalation
We investigate complaints, document findings, correct substantiated issues, and explain the outcome. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another regulator with jurisdiction. Using email does not limit those rights.

This rights process was internally reviewed on September 1, 2026 for consistency with the implemented email-only intake and retention controls. It is pending independent legal review and is not a certification or regulator approval.
