Know what works before choosing a file.

The tools are designed for current desktop and mobile browsers, with ordinary document work completed locally. This guide explains supported formats, realistic limits, and the one feature that temporarily stores encrypted data.

DOCX-, PowerPoint-, and spreadsheet-to-PDF conversion are not currently offered. Reproducing Office layouts accurately in a browser would add a significant reliability burden. The site does not claim OCR, identity-verified signing, notarization, guaranteed compression, forensic redaction, or perfect Office-format fidelity.

Browser and device guidance

The site is designed for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox on Windows, macOS, Linux, iPhone, iPad, and Android where the required browser APIs are available. That is compatibility guidance—not a guarantee for every device or browser build. Desktop Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox is the safer choice for large PDFs, many pages, high-resolution photos, or TIFF conversion. Keep the browser updated, close unused tabs, and retain the original until the result has been checked.

Processing and storage boundaries

• Ordinary tools: selected files and entered document content stay in browser memory and are not intentionally uploaded to the application server.
• Secure links: the browser encrypts the PDF and filename before upload. Cloudflare receives the random identifier and ciphertext, but not the fragment-held decryption key. Access expires after about 15 minutes; cleanup normally runs every five minutes.
• Normal web delivery: Cloudflare and relevant providers can still receive ordinary network and security metadata such as IP address, browser details, route category, timestamps, and generic error information.
• Payments and advertising: Stripe receives information entered at checkout. Google's advertising code is restricted to eligible public routes and remains subject to approval, consent, and the published privacy policy.

Safety limits

Free local processing allows up to 40 MB per browser session and free secure links up to 15 MB. A 24-hour Day Pass raises local files to 100 MB and secure-link files to 90 MB, with a 5 GB cumulative secure-transfer limit and 1 GB active at once. Uploads in progress reserve storage capacity, and expired files continue to count until deletion is verified. The platform also enforces page, pixel, time, image-count, and memory safeguards. A rewarded local boost may raise local files to 50 MB for two minutes, up to four times daily, only if Google makes an approved opt-in format available; it does not add secure-link storage.
